Find a local business

Find what you need, or look up a business by name. Name searches list matches A–Z. Category and town browsing keeps owner-claimed listings first, then the most complete. Nobody can pay to move up that order.

How would you like to search?

Browsing is free. Nothing is sent to a business until you choose to contact one.

What is in the directory

Checking live directory counts…

“Claimed by the owner” means the business has taken control of its listing. We do not add ratings, and paying never makes a listing “verified”.

Is your business listed?

Claiming and correcting your listing is free. Optional listing upgrades are sold one month at a time and are always labelled Sponsored.

Category and town browse collection: 17,030 eligible records across 36 categories and 45 towns. Live A–Z coverage is separate.

Useful details before you choose

What does the count on this directory page mean?
This selection shows 17,030 businesses. It does not include every business. Alphabetical browsing uses separate live listings and can have different coverage.
How are listings ordered?
Owner-claimed listings come first, then profile completeness and name. Sponsored placements are labelled and do not change the organic order.
Does a listing mean NSO endorses a business?
No. Check that the business offers what you need. Ask about relevant qualifications, insurance and licensing, and confirm those details with the business or issuing organisation.
How do I compare options?
Read the recorded business details, ask about availability and request a quote for your actual requirements. Confirm the scope and price before booking.
What if a business is missing or its details are wrong?
Use Add a missing business or Claim an existing listing. These are reviewed requests; they do not automatically publish a record or verify ownership.
